As is traditional with Steiner inspired/based Dolls and Toys
all items are hand made from natural materials where possible.
These materials include wool fleece (natural and dyed),
commercial and hand dyed felt, pure wool yarn, leather, soft cotton materials, silk, satin and velvet. Some items are
made of wood, pipecleaners, non-toxic glue and assorted types of beads. The bulk of the stuffed
items are filled with 100% wool fleece, others, like the mice and root children are stuffed with rice and the mushrooms
have small clean pebbles in their stalks to make them stand. For items that require bases to stabilise them so
they also stand, these are made with stiff but flexible interfacing, glued to the base material, rather than card, so
if necessary the item can be very gently hand washed.
Whilst some of them are small, most, if not all, are extremely
time consuming and fiddly to make. I have and will continue however to keep prices as low as I possibly can.
In the Catalogue you will see I have divided items into appropriate age groups and sections.
ALL items (with the exception of the Decorative Items) are suitable for the over 3's, but the items for the over 3's
are not at all suitable for under 3's (except for the pouch dolls).
